Create Private EC2 Windows

You can refer to how to create EC2 Windows

1. Access the EC2 service management console

   • Click Instances.
   • Click Launch instances.

2. In the Name and tags section

   • Name the instance: Private Windows Instance

3. At the Amazon Machine Image (AMI) page.

   • Scroll down.
   • Click Select to choose the AMI Microsoft Windows Server 2025 Base.

4. In the Instance Type section.

   • Click select Instance type t3.micro.

5. In the Key Pair (login) section.

   • Click select the key pair you created earlier.

6. In the Network setting section

   • In the Network section press Edit and select Lab VPC
   • In the Subnet section select Lab Private Subnet.
   • In the Auto-assign Public IP section select Use subnet setting (Disable)
   • In the Firewall (security group) section, select select existing security group
     • In the Common security group section, select SG Private Windows Instance

7. Click Launch Instances to create the EC2 server.

8. Click View Instances to return to the EC2 instances catalog. Next we will proceed to create IAM Roles to serve Session Manager.
